So Mac’s Are Cheaper than PC’s
This was a recent comment to a mac hater on youtube, it makes perfect sense…
okay so I have have 5 Macs, and I can prove in the long run PC’s will be alot more expensive so lets see…
Apple’s iMac (mid specs) $1,499
2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
internal iSight camera
Built in Bluetooth
320GB Hard Drive
ATI 2600 PRO graphics
All-in-one with 20” display
Apple remote
iLife Free
iWork office Suite $49
Dell Studio Desktop $549
2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo
2GB RAM
320GB Hard Drive
Bad Integrated Intel® GMA X4500HD Graphics
NO Display
No Webcam
No Bluetooth
Since the PC isn’t complete this is what, you will have to add onto it to make it not even as good as the iMac…
20” LG Display $225
Logitech Webcam $60
USB Bluetooth module $35
full Windows Vista Ultimate $249
Sony Vegas (Movie) $55
M-Audio (Making Music) $100
Nero Suite (Making DVD’s) $70
Making Websites (Nothing Comparable to iWeb accept VoX $50
Norton Security Suite $70
ATI 2600 Pro Graphics card $120
In-for red sensor and remote $150
MS Office Ultimate 2007 $450
SUB Total is $2,183 for the PC, the iMac has more stuff and its cheaper so could spend the money on the iMac customizing it and giving it better specs, why spend all that on a PC when you can get a Mac what’s better and cheaper. Most people think the PC is cheaper, in the long run its not, with all the software you have to buy.

Dell fail so much. Also intel graphics do too, the one’s in that dell are at least better than the ones in the macbook. I have the aspire one with gma 950 the same as in the early macbook. Its ok for a netbook but is I try to play half life 2 lost coast or gta sa the fps drops to around 10. You cant really compare sony veags to imovie though as they are completely diffrent classes of software. Dont forget windows does come with M$ movie maker which does suck but its there. Its not the hardware apple’s cheaper on is the software

the new Macbooks don’t use intel graphics cards they use the NVIDIA 9400M

I meant the white ones. The 9400 is a reasonabley powerful card for a notebook.
